MillerFeb. 17, 1940-April 7, 2018Age: 78Residence: LaSalleSandra L. Miller, 78, of LaSalle, passed away April 7, 2018. Sandra was born to Leigh and Dorothy Banwell on Feb. 17, 1940, in Dows, Iowa. She married James E. Miller on June 11, 1966, in Greeley, where they resided until 1969, later moving to LaSalle.Sandra graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1958, and went on to get her bachelor's degree in teaching at UNC-Colorado Teachers College, where she was a cheerleader and very involved in her sorority, Alpha Phi.She was a full time mom, wife and friend to all. She loved the church and served through teaching, speaking and mentoring. She was a long time member of Generations Church. She and her husband Jim, served the Lord together faithfully for over 50 years.Relationships were very important to her, as she loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She never missed an event for her kids or grandkids. She enjoyed walking, reading and playing bridge and her local PEO Chapter.She is survived by her husband, James E. Miller; sons, Benjamin (Robin) Miller, David Miller and Clark (Renee) Miller; daughter, Katie (Harry) Strohauer; sister, Jonne (David) Kraning-Beeler; grandchildren, Clint, Tatum, Macie and Emilie Miller, Amber, April and Tad (Whitney) Strohauer, Allison (Craig) Petrovich and Josh Miller.She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Lou Nolan; and her first husband, Michael Courtney.Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Generations Church, 3600 22nd St., Greeley, with a reception in the fellowship hall, following the burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 28th St., Greeley.Memorial contributions may be made to Generations Church, in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 702 13th St., Greeley, Colo. 80631.
